Every one of you on your birthday need to pray.
The day that the Lord brought you here.
He loves you so much my dear.
The Lord always has His reasons.
For every day of every season.
You are blessed that He gives you this day every year that you are here.
Always keep His word close and near.
Know that you are blessed everyday.
Please hear the words that I say.
Always give your glory to Him.
He won't make your life at all dim.
Please praise Him always not just on your day. He will lead the way.

I love you...
And yet another year has gone by,
Another moment in your life,
Another memory to store away, to savor for another day.
And when the grays begin to appear,and the years are worn upon your brow,
I will love you still.
And yet another year has pass you by
Another chance to regain your dreams
Another chance that they might flee,
I will love you still.
And then in time when the light in your eyes no longer shine,
and the warmth of your skin, becomes cold and bitter.
I will hold you gently in my arms and whisper softly in your ear,

No one said happy birthday to me

I woke up this sunny morning
So excited and ablaze
Quietly sneaking down the stairs
Preparing to hear a “Happy Birthday!”

But every piece a furniture in my house
Sits stiff and still
I start to feel less excited
I start to feel less thrilled

I see my dad sleeping on the couch
With still his coffee in his hand
By the look on his tiresome face
I knew no surprise was planned

I walk into the kitchen
Mama was knocked out on the floor
Had whiskey and beer bottles around her
So much for not drinking anymore

I went back up the stairs to my sister’s room
Where her and her man lay
They were making out in her bed
And all this time I really thought he was gay

So I peak my head in my brother’s room
Smoke filled his disgusting room
I didn’t even remind him it was my birthday
I just tossed him body spray and a broom

I crawled back in my bed in my room
Wishing to get a call from a friend
I prayed to the good lord above
Could he please let me wake up again?

Am I not loved by my family?
For them to say two words to me
I mean its only two simple words
I’m not asking them to say three

I go on through out the day
My family to cracked up to be nice
I hope my mom and dad get arrested
And I hope my brother and sister get head lice

I make them cards and presents for their birthdays
That gets thrown away that same night
But they can’t even wish me a happy day
Without putting up a fight

I’m only turning fourteen
And I’d rather give up on life
No kids for my future
No becoming a wife

No one cares about me
I don’t want a birthday no more
It sucks no one said “happy birthday”
I just thought that’s what family was for
